You would think that I always grew up with entrepreneurship, but that is not true. But yes, something that is exciting and scary at the same time seems like a good challenge to try.

Our meeting with Stijn Mul , an internationally renowned kitesurfer, turned out to be a pivotal moment in our story. During an inspiring conversation, Stijn shared his experiences with the pollution he had seen during his travels, especially on a beautiful beach in Cape Town, South Africa. He spoke about the devastating impact of plastic and waste on the natural environment, something he had experienced up close. His passion for the oceans and his fight against pollution touched us deeply and made us think. It was this conversation that motivated us to want to make a difference and to found EveryWear, with sustainability as a core value.
After our inspiring meeting with Stijn Mul and the impactful experience in Cape Town, our mission became even more meaningful during our trip to Paris.
At the optician's fair 'Silmo Paris', the idea for EveryWear was further developed. We saw how innovation and technology could transform the eyewear industry, and that motivated us to create something unique: light, flexible eyewear that is not only stylish, but also sustainable. Paris became the starting point of our dedication to sustainability and perfection.

Our mission is to create the world’s best pollution-free sunglasses, fit for any adventure. We believe that 80% of frame materials are wasted and we are determined to change this. By 3D printing plant-based sunglasses, we create transparency in production and reduce pollution. We want to raise awareness of the issues in the optical industry and create sustainable change.
